Fall Creek teachers Jen Mason (vocal music) and Toby Jacobson (middle school math) have been friends and colleagues for more than two decades. In March of 2025, while chaperoning a spring break trip, they hatched the idea of starting a country band. Jen's recently purchased trucker hat (embroidered with the words "Howdy Darlin'") inspired the name, and before long they were bringing their music to a variety of venues around west-central Wisconsin.
As your friendly neighborhood country duo, The Howdy Darlins serve up harmonies and good times in equal measure. From Parton and Cash to Lambert and Stapleton, they play six decades' worth of classics (along with a few originals), seasoned with a dash of rock & roll and served with a smile.
